Business yesterday came to a standstill in the busy Kisekka market, as a group of daredevil cyclists put up a thrilling show.
The group of about ten bikers showed a wide range of tactics, attracting business people in the area as well as bodaboda riders and pedestrians.
These cyclists are part of a larger group known as Wheel Boyz Uganda Ltd who operate with in that area
Fred Nsereko, the group chairman says Wheel Boyz is made up of sport-turned Bajaj Boxers.
Their work, he says has been a lucrative source of income, which helped bring back to track a number of young unemployed people that had been derailed.
“We call upon all individuals or companies which can support us in improving our talents through organizing professional competitions to join us and improve this sport” added Nsereko
Robert Musoke, the group manager says they do this not just for the money, but also for fun and entertainment.
“We formed a SACCO which consists of more than 500 members who include business people from Kiseka, bodaboda riders who save and at the same time we assist each other in different ways”
