PHOTOS: Chaos at Fufa House as Rival Faction Invade

Uganda Police Force have been called to beef up security at the Fufa headquarters in Mengo after a group of disgruntled Ex-players stormed the place in the middle of a weekly press conference.

Security was tight in and around the premises throughout the morning. Journalists and other individuals had to go through a rigorous check on top of leaving their identification cards at the entrance.

The press conference started smoothly just some minutes after 10 AM under the guidance of Fufa Communications Manager, Ahmed Hussein and Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic who was the main speaker.

The ex-players arrived unannounced at around 10:40 Am but were denied entrance by the security personnel.

The group started causing commotion attracting some members of the public and media.

Police intervened to amicably calm the situation by engaging the leaders including Dan Walusimbi and George Ssemogerere in dialogue.

The situation was calmed down after the police intervened.
