Renowned singer Bebe Cool and Rwandan RnB singer Jody thrilled revelers on Thursday night at Diners Lounge, during the Comedy Store gig.
The Comedy Store host Eric Omondi was the guest comedian of the night.
The show kicked off with an energetic performance from Allan Hendricks, son of popular singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool, who was followed by Amooti Omubalanguzi with his new Amarula Crew, who did a live performance.
Later on at around 11:30Pm, Jody was ushered onto stage to perform her songs like ‘Body to Body’ which she did with Uganda’s Rabadaba, ‘Karimo’, ‘Better than them’ among others, which fired up revelers.
Jody’s performance amazed Eric Omondi too;
“In Africa, it is only Rwandese and their related western Ugandans that have good girls worth marriage,” Omondi said.
He added that “They are beautiful, polite and tender; leave alone the ‘Togikwatako’ Baganda!”
Finally Bebe Cool stepped on stage past midnight, singing out his heart as he did songs like ‘Katono’, ‘Kabulengane’, ‘Teka Sente Wolaba’ among others, which cheered up the crowd and got them dancing.
However, Bebe Cool was added on the list of performers after Kenyan singer Nameless, who was supposed to headline the night’s performance, failed to show up due to poor health.
