Crown Beverages Limited has today flagged off the first batch of its Tukonnectinge Campaign winners to a fully paid trip to Dubai
The winners selected from different parts of the country will enjoy a 4 days paid trip touring around some of the famous places in Dubai city
The winners that were flagged off at Entebbe International Airport include Jonan Atusigwire, Magdaline Adhiambo Kasuku, Isaac Kyanzi, Andrew Maweri, Muhammad Mukombozi Mutembandegye, Mariam Bonitah Nakigudde, Gorrreth Babirye Nazziwa, Paska Nyandira, Daniel Okori, Charles Ssemanda, Silage Teeka and Walana George.
Speaking at the flag off event held at the Sites Travel offices at Serena Hotel, Tracy Kakuru Otatiina, the Pepsi Uganda Head of Communications, said the campaign was a way of giving back to their customers for the support they have rendered to the company.
She explained that there will be another trip at the end of July and encouraged Ugandans to continue drinking Pepsi and sending codes to be winners
“We have so far given out 20 cars, 18 fridges and others many gifts. The 14 members who include journalists and regional winners will enjoy dinners and spend nights at Grand Excelsior hotel, cruises, a trip to the famous desert safari, tour the city of Abu Dhabi among other nice places” she said
Gorreth Nazziwa, one of the winners from Mubende excitedly revealed that it will be her first time to be on a plane and thanked Pepsi for the opportunity.
“I have never even dreamt of going to Dubai, it was an impossibility for me but because of Pepsi, this has become a reality. My excitement is beyond any words I can use,” she said
