Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has expressed interest in sitting down for talks with the head of the People Power Movement Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine).
Gen Muhoozi, who has lately amped his interest in the political field, says he was encouraged by his supporters to have a meeting with Bobi Wine.
“A lot of my supporters are telling me to sit down and talk to my brother Bobi Wine,” Muhoozi tweeted Thursday.
“I have no problem talking to him, we talked in the past and were friends. I just advise all the youth never to seek war over peace.”

Responding to the proposition however, the People spokesperson Mr Joel Senyonyi said Bobi Wine and his group would have no interest in sitting down with Gen Muhoozi.
“I don’t think People Power has any reason to sit down with the First Son,” Senyonyi told ChimpReports..
“He is the first son; he is the President’s Advisor; I think that he should focus on that; advising the President.”
While Muhoozi claims friendship with the Kyadondo East MP, Mr Ssenyonyi emphasized, “There is nothing personal between (Bobi Wine) and the first family.”
“If there was ever to be a meeting between us and Museveni or his people, that meeting would involve the rest of Ugandans,” he added.”
