Nigerian singer Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie commonly known by his stage name Patoranking will be staging a concert in Uganda this year, following his last ‘Born To Win’ concert alongside Diamond Platinumz in 2015.
The dancehall singer popular for songs like ‘Omu Bwati’ featuring Uganda’s Fik Fameica, ‘Confirm’ and ‘Wilmer’ among others, will be thrilling fans at ‘Patoranking Live In Wilmer Concert’ slated for October 25, at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
This was confirmed by Evoke’s Managing Director Timothy Code at the media cocktail launch held on Tuesday 23 at Thrones Bar and Restaurant in Bugolobi.
Speaking to journalists at the fun filled launch Timothy revealed that Ugandans should brace themselves for an out of this world music experience at the concert.
“Evoke Night is keeping things very fresh, youthful and energetic and that’s why we are doing this for our fans. Patoranking is going to come from Nigeria to give Ugandans an experience they have never seen before.”
A Patoranking pre-party will be held on October 24 at Thrones Bar and Restaurant where the singer will mix and mingle with his Ugandan fans and give them a sample of what he will be unleashing at the concert.
The concert will also feature performances from a lineup of Ugandan singers including Vinka, Cindy Sanyu, Big Trill, Gravity Omutujju, Djs Nasselow and Cisse among others.
