Pastor Wilson Bugembe is the latest celebrity to weigh in on singers Eddy Kenzo and Rema Namakula’s failed relationship.
Last weekend, social media was awash with news indicating that the ‘Deep In Love’ singer had ended her 5 years relationship with Kenzo.
Social media was flooded with photos of Rema and her new boyfriend Hamza Sebunya,a doctor at Mulago Hospital, accompanied by the couples’ introduction ceremony details.
According to one of the invitation cards addressed to the guests, the singer will be introducing her fiancée Hamza to her family in November as the first step towards legitimizing their relationship.
Eddy Kenzo was later on Sunday, forced to issue a lengthy emotional statement on his social media in which he declared his undying love for his baby mama and wished her the very best in her marriage.
Celebrities and fans have since offered their two cents about the singers’ breakup with some siding with Rema while others sympathized with Kenzo.
Pastor Wilson Bugembe who is a good friend to both Rema and Kenzo has weighed in on the situation declaring that he will not be taking sides because they are his family.
He, however, sympathized with Kenzo saying he too underwent the same situation, disclosing that he was once dumped by a woman residing in America whom he loved so much.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with NBS on Tuesday this Week, Pastor Bugembe revealed that he wanted to marry the girl whose identity he strictly kept tightly under wraps, only for her to dumb him.
He called upon Kenzo to turn to God during this trying time, exercise caution, have control over his emotions and be picky on what he says about the breakup.
“I know what you are going through right now, but what I can tell you is make sure you don’t become doormat by leaving her over 20 missed calls,” Pastor Bugembe advised.
