Pastor Serwadda Speaks Out on Testifying Against Bugingo

Renowned pastor and founder of Victory Christian center Pastor Joseph Serwadda has addressed reports that he along with religious men are set to testify against Pastor Aloysius Bugingo in Court.

Bugingo, for starters, was dragged to court by concerned Christians over ‘Insulting religion’ when he torched hundreds of Bibles.

Addressing the concert, Serwadda said “I shall never stand in a court to testify against anyone.”

On why he wouldn’t Serwadda says “I listened to Bujingo 4 years ago and concluded he had something wrong with his life and so I forgave him right there.”

Despite the constant alleged attacks on him by Bugingo, Serwadda clarifies that “I took a calculated decision to NEVER respond to his daily rants however hurtful and sickening they may be.”

Responding to the burning matter of torching Bibles, Serwadda says he “was on mission in Mexico”

“If Mr Matovu & Mr Semugooma [Plaintiffs] and team expected me to do so, they are mistaken and should quickly find someone else,” he said.

“I have no time for courts. And definitely not where Bugingo is involved,” he concluded.

It shall be remembered that Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries in Makerere Kikoni, Kampala was recently summoned by Chief Magistrate Esther Nasambu Rebecca to Nabweru Court for reportedly ‘insulting religion.’

This follows a case filed by former Ddembe Presenter Aloysius Matovu Kiiza and his colleague Francis Jemba, both born-again Christians.

In the Court summons that this website has received, Bugingo is given 15 days to file a defense.
