The office of the Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga on Thursday officially unveiled the newly recruited Speaker’s Principal Press Secretary, Sam Obbo.

The office explained that Mr. Obbo’s job description is not a private secretary to an individual (Kadaga) but a principal position to serve the office.

He added that Obbo is going to operate under the Directorate of Communications and Public Affairs and will be reporting to Director, Chris Obore.

ChimpReports on Wednesday broke the story of Obbo’s outsourcing and recruitment. The position was not advertised.
