Panic as Thieves Break Into UBC Offices

News reaching ChimpLyf is that there is uncontrollable panic at Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) premises after thieves broke into their offices over the weekend.

An insider at the Nile Avenue based corporation reveals that the yet to be identified thugs broke into the closed-circuit television (CCTV) room among other offices.

The thieves are reported to have walked away with a CCTV server among other items. However, UBC management is said to investigating the criminal offence though within the corporation as they believe it could have been one of the station’s employees.

As a result, all UBC employees stationed at Nile Avenue have been asked to have their fingerprints scanned by a team of security operatives and National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA).  Our source adds that the employees are still hesitant to comply with this directive.

These thieves are so brave that they didn’t worry of being caught on cameras that they stole the CCTV server as well!
