Orthodox Forward Sekisambu Leaves KCCA FC

13-time Uganda Premier League Champions KCCA Football Club have confirmed the departure of lethal striker Erisa Sekisambu.

The development was confirmed on Sunday night by the club’s head of communication, Magero Moses Mwanje during KCCA’s show on Sanyuka TV.

Sekisambu joined KCCA FC in 2019 on a one-year contract deal and his contract expired in June this year.

He joined KCCA FC as a free agent from Kenyan Premier League Champions Gor Mahia, adding to his previous stints at Vipers SC, Express FC, Sports Club Villa and URA FC.

Sekisambu joins midfielder Jackson Nunda, custodians Jamil Malyamungu, Tom Ikara, forward Mike Mutyaba, Eric Ssenjobe, and Mustafa Kizza (Montreal Impact) as other players who have already walked out of Lugogo.

The Kasassiro Boys are also expected to let go of midfielders Saddam Juma, Nicholas Kasozi, Muzamir Mutyaba and striker John Odumwegu in the coming weeks.

Ahead of next season, KCCA FC has already signed Italian Stefano Mazengo Loro, Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mugume, Denis Iguma, Bright Anukani, Brian Aheebwa and Samson Kigozi.
