The Uganda Cranes camp in Ismailia, Egypt is slowly filling up after the arrival of five foreign-based players on Monday.
The arrivals include the team captain Denis Onyango who plies his trade in South Africa with the Mamelodi Sundowns.
Others that joined the camp include; Edris Lubega (SV Ried, Austria), Joseph Ochaya (TP Mazembe, DR Congo), Khalid Aucho (Churchil Brothers, India), as well as goalkeepers Salim Jamal (Al Hilal, Sudan).
The ten local-based and free agents that travelled directly from kampala were joined on their route by three Tanzania-based stars Murushid Juuko, Emmanuel Okwi and Nico Wakiro Wadada.
The team is expected to play a closed-door friendly match against Egyptian local side Ismailia SC on Wednesday and depart to Tanzania later on for the final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Taifa Stars.
Uganda has already qualified for the continental showpiece while their East African rivals have to win the game to stand a chance.
