There will be less to play for on the final match day of the 2018-19 Uganda Premier League season as champions and all the three relegated teams have been confirmed.
This was after Onduparaka beat Ndejje University 1-0 in Bombo to relegate the university side in their debut season.
The match that was initially scheduled for Wednesday was played for only 20 minutes before heavy rains forced it to be abandoned. The two teams resumed from the 20th minute on Thursday.
Ndejje needed to win their two remaining games and hope that SC Villa lose their last match against Nyamityobora but a late Vianne Sekajugo strike dashed their hopes.
The win sends Onduparaka to fifth place with 44 points and leaves Ndejje with 26, four below the safety line with only one game left.
SC Villa, the only team that was realistically in danger with 31 points, is now assured of safety.
Ndejje join fellow debutants Nyamityobora and Paidha Black Angels as they return to the FUFA Big League.
