South Sudan Vs Uganda Cranes – 4pm
Uganda Cranes and Paradou Athletic Club attacking midfielder Allan Okello is confident about an improved performance going into their 2021 AFCON qualifiers return leg duel against South Sudan.
Uganda Cranes visits South Sudan on Monday 16th November at Nyayo National stadium in Nairobi, Kenya banking on their first leg 1-0 win registered last week at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Despite the first leg victory, the Uganda Cranes put in a below per performance at the astro turf and the former KCCA midfielder expects a much changed display at a neutral ground.
“We have seen many of the mistakes done during the first leg and hope that we shall have a far much better game on Monday,” Okello noted after their Saturday training session in Nairobi.
He added, “All the players are in good shape ahead of the match. We had a good first training on Saturday and we are ready for action.”
Okello was brought on after 58 minutes replacing Striker Emmanuel Arnold Okwi and displayed a game changing performance up-to the climax.
The team is accommodated at Tamarin Tree Hotel, Langata in Nairobi and will conduct the final training session on the match eve of Sunday evening at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi.
The Cranes who are 2nd with seven points in group B, will aim for maximum points against the Bright Stars to secure a slot in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament that will take place in Cameroon.
