FUFA Big League side Arua Hill Sports Club has officially unveiled Hussein Mbalangu as their new Head Coach and his deputy Joseph Kiwanuka ahead of the forthcoming 2020/2021 season.
Both were unveiled at Heritage Courts in Arua Municipality, on Monday, in a ceremony attended by the club’s Technical Director Bosco Dudu and club media manager Otelul Vegas.
The CAF “A” licensed tactician and former Uganda Cranes player, expressed delight after his appointment at the West Nile outfit and promised to bring a Tik-Tak style of play combined with attacking football.
“I am happy to be here. I play Tik-Tak style. I am an offensive minded coach being a former striker. You score me four, I score you seven. I do not believe in defending football,” Mbalangu noted during his unveiling.
Mbalangu in the past guided Mogadishu City Club to two Premier League trophies, one Somalia Cup and one Super Cup in his 4-season spell at the club.
He also had stints at Uganda Premier League side SC Villa, FUFA Big League entity The Saints FC, Buganda Regional League club Azam FC and was appointed as Kyaggwe Saza head coach for the next edition of Masaza Cup tournament.
His deputy Kiwanuka is a CAF B certified Coach who previously handled Express Football Club Junior Team.
Last season, Arua Hill SC finished 6th in the FUFA Big League Elgon group.
