Ugandan attacking midfielder Ambrose Awio has completed his move to Tanzania Premier League side Biashara United Football Club.
Awio joins the Mara based outfit on a two-year deal that will keep him at the club until the end of 2021/2022 season.
Ibrahim Kafuuma, the player’s representative confirmed this development on Saturday.
“Ambrose Awio, an offensive midfielder completed the paperwork details with Biashara Mara United Football Club. He signed a two year employment contract with an option of extension upon impressive performances,” Kafuuma told Kawowo Sports.
Awio joins Biashara United as a free agent having ran out of contract with Kenyan Premier League side Sony Sugar.
He had previously played for FUFA Big League outfit Ndejje University Football Club before crossing boarders.
At Biashara, he joins two other Ugandans in defender Joseph Zziwa and goalkeeper Cleo Ssetubba who turn out for the same team.
