The player recruitment spree at FUFA Big League side Nyamityobora Football Club is in high gear, with the latest coming in the shape of the duo unveiling.
The two players that have been officially unveiled by the Abanyakare are striker Dickson “Kihanga” Niwamanya and defender Johnson “Bafana” Turinawe.
Both Niwamanya and Turinawe join Nyamityobora on two-year contracts from Kabale based Kigezi HomeBoyz.
Last week, the Mbarara based club announced five signings in goalkeepers Solomon Mbowa and Adam Kizza Katongole, left back Remmy Makumbi, forward Rashid Nsubuga as well as central defender Fred Juuko.
Others recruits at the club so far include Tony Musinguzi, Brian Nyabwina, Mubarak Kakooza, defender Wahabu Lwanga, Juma Sabiti, Ismail Faizol Aliganyira, and Meddie Muhammed Matovu.
Last season, Nyamityobora finished in 5th place with 13 points in the Rwenzori Group after the FUFA Big League season was ended prematurely because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Next season sees the team coached by Richard Makumbi, deputized by Denis “Mulangira” Kiyimba while Sadam Mugaru is the club’s Chief Executive Officer.
FUFA set 29th October 2020 as the tentative kick off date for 2020/2021 FUFA Big League new campaign.
