Former KCCA FC striker Derrick Nsibambi has finally agreed to return to Smouha FC in the Egyptian Premier League after being free agent for a while.
According to the Uganda Cranes striker’s agent Geofrey Solo Kayemba, the decision for Nsibambi’s return to Egypt was reached after the two parties at the start of the new year.
“My client has returned to Smouha Football Club in Egypt, we reached an agreement with the club because they needed his services and for the good of his career, he has returned to serve diligently” Kayemba said.
It should be noted that Nsibambi joined Smouha from KCCA FC but since the start of the season, he fell out with the club and opted to return to Kampala.
“We resolved the issues between the player and management. He is set to start afresh and serve without fear or favor” Kayemba noted.
He was on the radar of several clubs in the Uganda Premier League including Vipers SC and Wakiso Giants FC but he opted for Smouha.
