Nile Breweries to Make House Delivery of Beers Amid Covid19 Shutdown

Beer makers Nile Breweries Ltd have unveiled a campaign that will see customers order beers online and have them delivered to their doorstep.

The campaign comes as Ugandans commence their second stretch of lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid19, which will be running up to May 5th.

The company yesterday unveiled a new website that is hoped to make it easier for Ugandans aged 18 and over, to order and purchase beer brands online and have them delivered to a location of their choice.

“The lockdown has kept people home and they are not able to easily access their favorite beers from bars and shops,” the company said.

“The service is currently available to areas in and around Kampala and delivery will be made during the periods permitted according to the government guidelines on COVID-19. It will however be rolled out to other areas in due time.

The Company says they will be delivering beer in 60mins from the time the order is confirmed.

Customers will also be required to provide proof of their age.
