Nigerian singer David Adeleke commonly known as Davido is taking his ‘30 Billion World Tour’ to Kenya this month.
The ‘Assurance’ hit maker will entertain fans in the East African nation on the last leg of the tour that was named in honor of his global hit single ‘If’ that was certified Platinum.
The two-time BET award winner will be joined by singers like Dremo, Mayorkun who are signed under his record label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
The concert that will take place on November 24, at Uhuru Gardens is being jointly organized by Kenyan events company KCARL Entertainment Events with DMW.
Speaking about the concert, KCARL Entertainment Events Manager Tunde Daniel said, “Having one of Africa’s bestselling artists come to Kenya goes a long way to prove that Nairobi is the ultimate party destination in East Africa and entertainment hub of the region. Inviting Davido to perform the 30 Billion Concert here fits both the profile of an artist of his caliber and the respect attached to Nairobi city. This concert is definitely one for the books.”
This will be the second time Davido performs in Kenya.
He last performed in the neighboring country in 2015, but the performance was criticized by Kenyans who claimed they felt cheated.
