The Uganda police Force has announced Saturday 14th September as the date for the new recruits to report at the agency’s school for training.
This was revealed by spokesperson Fred Enanga at police headquarters during a press briefing.
According to Enanga, police successfully identified a total of 4500 people who are eligible to join the force.
The recruits are probational police constables and learner assistant inspectors of police.
Enanga said that lists of successful candidates have been sent out to all divisions and districts of where the applicants came from and where they did the interviews from.
“All successful candidates who have confirmed from the list will have to report on 14th September at Kabalye police training school without fail,” Enanga said.
He added that each candidate should possess an original national identity card and forwarding letter from the school and institutions including grades and results scored.
