The 2017 National Basketball League will continue today with 12 teams taking centre court at MTN Arena Lugogo.

On form UCU cannons will face record 6 time league champions Startimes Falcons in the most thrilling encounter of the day.

Falcons who have only one win to their name in all their 5 encounters this season, will need their top players Okumu Bernard, Vinie Jurua and Olobo Moses to be in fine form if they are to pick maximum points today.

This is the first of the four matches Falcons Coach Bernis Ankunda will face in this month of July, UPDF Tomahawks, KIU titans and City Oilers are the other teams Falcons will face before this July ends.

Friday Results

Saidi Amis hit a double double of 14 points and 13 rebounds as Pemba Warriors cruised past Ndejje University Angels in a closely contested affair.

Ochera Innocent and Katumba derrick scored 13 and 11 points respectively for Ndejje but that was not enough for Walker Obedi’s charges to overturn the score.

In the other game of the night, JKL dolphins who played without Pemha Jeane and Ivan Enabu suffered their third loss of the season against UCU cannons.

Mahate Joas and Steven Wundi scored 20 and 15 points respectively. Blick Norman featured for the Dolphins side and the veteran played scored 11 points on a sad day.
