Nabweeteme Stars Again to Equal SWOSU Record

Former Kawempe Muslim and Uganda Crested Crane mercurial striker Sandra Nabweteeme has continued to light up her stay in the USA with sterling performances by the day.

The sensational star fired her team Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) to a 2-1 victory over Ouachita Baptist early on Friday morning (Thursday evening US time) in a Great American Conference match.

Nabweeteme scored both goals in the respective halves with the first sinking in the 31st minute after she buried a cool pass from Ashlyn Collier.

Ouachita Baptist pulled level four minutes from the breather but Nabweeteme was keen to repay Bulldogs faith on her with the winner in the 68th minute.

The brace counted her 11th and 12th goals of the season equaling the previous SWOSU record though she now has teammate Alimata Rabo, drug who leads the team with 15 goals on the year to catch up with.

The Bull dogs have now accumulated 19 points from six wins, one draw and a single loss. Their next assignment is on Saturday 1st October against Harding university in search of the top spot.
