Muteesa File Case Against She Corporate For Use Of Ineligible Players

There could be a twist in who plays the final of the 2018 FUFA Women’s Cup if Muteesa I Royal University petition against She Corporate holds any water.

Chimpsports reliably understands that Muteesa filled a case to the FUFA Competitions Committee against She Corporate after their semifinal clash in which the latter had won 5-4 on penalties after normal time had ended in a one all draw.

Muteesa report that She Corporate fielded two ineligible players that were not supposed to feature in the game.

The two players in question are Alice Kalimba and Florence Imanizabayo both of Rwanda origin who are believed to have featured for two clubs concurrently.

In the case that Muteesa presented, Kalimba who started the season at She Corporate moved back to Rwanda and played for AS Kigali helping the team win the league title as their captain and later returned to Uganda to play for She Corporate.

Imanizabayo too is also reported on the similar grounds having played both in Uganda and Rwanda at the same time.

Should the Competitions Committee find She Corporate guilty, that means the Nakawa based side will lose the semifinal game by forfeiture and thus Muteesa will advance to the final where UCU Lady Cardinals who eliminated holders Olila WFC await.

The final is slated for this Saturday at Kabwohe playground in Bushenyi District.
