Mutebi Optimistic KCCA FC Can Pick Positive Result Away to Mamelodi Sundowns

With just four days to the highly anticipated clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Uganda’s representatives KCCA FC , ambulance team  manager Mike Mutebi is confident his team can pick a positive result away from home.

KCCA FC take on reigning African champions Mamelodi Sundowns with the first leg at Lucas Moripe stadium in Pretoria, symptoms South Africa and Mutebi is optimistic ahead of the clash.

“We respect Mamelodi Sundowns because they are the defending champions but we do not fear them and we shall go out there with the aim of picking a good result before the return leg, viagra ” he said.

Mutebi insists his team won’t change in the style of play to go defensive because they are away from home but will maintain the same system and style they have been using.

“We are going to play our way. We shall try to be orderly not to concede silly goals but also attack to make sure we create chances and score goals because it is important,” added Mutebi.

KCCA FC skipper, Dennis Okot also coincides in agreement with his coach and believes the team can earn a positive result in South Africa.

“I don’t think we are still underdogs at this level. We play the same type of football so we are optimistic of a good result in the first leg,” he said in an interview with chimpsport.


“We have set our target and that is to reach the group stages. We are not going to South Africa to advertise but to make sure a positive result before the return leg back home,” Okot added.

Mamelodi Sundowns still have injury concerns with some of their key players including goalkeeper Dennis Onyango who sustained a knee injury and playmaker Khama Billiat. Anthony Laffor and Anele Ngcongca are also likely to miss the clash.

Masandawana host KCCA FC this Friday at the Lucas Moripe stadium in South Africa before a return leg at Phillip Omondi stadium a week later. The winner on aggregate will then advance to the group stages.
