Veteran gospel singer Afande Laneck on Saturday evening gifted fellow singer Levixone with a convertible Mercedes Benz saying he looked like a star in it.
The singer, who hijacked the stage while the ‘Turn the Replay’ singer was still performing, said it was his sacrifice and thanks giving to God.
“When his Kenyan friends came in the country for the concert, he asked me for the car to pick them. He had gone with Tony and he was driving. He looked so good in it; he looked like a celebrity. Levixone tomorrow come and pick your car,” he said amidst cheers from the crowds.
Levixone who looked rather amazed and shocked by the gift got hold of Laneck and hugged him for a while before thanking God.
“You see people my God doesn’t lie, I am now an owner of a Benz and I am going to drive it. Who knew that I would,” Levixone said.
The ‘Nonya Omu’ singer has become the first Uganda gospel artist to hold a successful concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval getting himself to the list of the industry big wigs like Jose Chameleone, Gravity Omutujju, David Lutalo among others that have held concerts at the same venue.
