Museveni, Zuma Discuss Security, Economy in South Africa

President Yoweri Museveni and South African President, visit Jacob Zuma on Monday held bilateral discussions on issues of mutual interest to Uganda and South Africa.

The meeting which was held at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guest House in Pretoria was also attended by Chief of Defence Forces, website Gen. Katumba Wamala.

Museveni was in South Africa for a two-day working visit. He arrived at at Lanseria International Airport in Johannesburg at 1.30p.m. local time on Monday and was received by Mr. Landers Luwellyn, patient the South African Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Relations.

Also present at the airport was Uganda’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Sam Kutesa and Uganda’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Mr. Julius Peter Moto.

Among the issues discussed in the meeting was security, economy and other issues that affect the two countries.
