NRM National Party Chairman President Yoweri Museveni is expected in Upper Madi Constituency this Tuesday to canvas support for party flag bearer Isaac Joakino Etuka.
Museveni’s visit was confirmed by NRM Deputy Secretary General Hon. Richard Todwong who is already on ground commanding the electoral operations.
Todwong said Museveni will address two campaign rallies at Atraa Primary School in Offako Sub County (10:00am) and at Okollo Trading centre playground at 2:00pm.
He further explained that the Constituency with four Sub Counties will have the voters in Anyimbu Sub County travelling to Offako in the morning as Uleppi joins Okollo for the second and last rally in the afternoon.
Todwong together with Hon Milton Muwuma and a team of other local leaders have Monday morning conducted the final inspection of the two venues where the head of state is expected.
NRM’s Etuka is facing competition from two others including independent Drito Martin Andi and FDC’s Arumadi John .
Todwong told journalists that he was in the area for nothing less than earning his party a fifth consecutive victory in these by-elections.
