President Yoweri Museveni is Sunday evening expected to visit the home of fallen Assistant Inspector General of Police, troche http://cmlsociety.org/wp-includes/feed.php Andrew Felix Kaweesi to pay his last respects.
Kaweesi who was also the Police Spokesperson was shot and killed on Friday morning as he left his Kulambiro home to Uganda Christian University Mukono, viagra dosage where he was scheduled to speak at a seminar.
In a statement released on Friday afternoon, patient Museveni condemned the incident, ordering for immediate installation of cameras on streets in major towns of Uganda and highways.
““We have been planning to do this project for some time but we have been postponing it on account of other priorities like the roads and electricity,” he said.
“Since, however, these thugs think they can use this remaining gap in our otherwise robust security frame-work, I have decided and directed the Minister of Finance to work with Police to immediately close this gap,” he added.
Museveni further called on all security organs of the government and the general public to be vigilant advising that incase one sees them, they should “take prompt action and challenge them.”
A joint operation between Police and CMI has been mounted in pursuit of the murderers who are still at large.
Kaweesi will be laid to rest on Tuesday March 21st at his country home in Lwengo District.
