President Yoweri Museveni is expected at the second National Primary Teachers Conference slated for 5th to 7th September this year at London College of St. Lawrence.
Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde the state minister for primary says the event has been organized to “recognize, motivate our primary teachers and expose them to the teaching dynamics of the 21st century education sector”
At the event, a total of 58 best performing primary teachers will be awarded in different categories under the National teacher’s prize initiated last year by Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni the minister of education and sports.
Specifically, 50 top performing teachers at country level, 5 at regional and 3 overall victors shall walk away with different prizes.
Over 3000 delegates drawn from the education, civil society, religious, local government agencies are expected to attend.
