Museveni to Grace Gulu University 15th Graduation Ceremony

President Museveni is expected as guest of honor at this year’s Gulu University 15th Graduation ceremony.

A total of 1,513 students are expected to graduate from the University this weekend at the main campus.

Mr. Jerry Bagaya, the Academic registrar says they have written to the Office of the President and the Minister of Education and they acknowledged receiving their letter.

Out of the 1,513 students, there are about 643 females and 870 males who will be graduating in different fields with Certficates, Diplomas, Bachelor Degrees, Post-graduate, Masters and one student will be graduating with a PhD.

The PhD graduate is Ms. Atim Sarah Agnes, who will be graduating with a PhD in Factors affecting Honey Colonies in Uganda.

The Gulu University Academic registrar also said there are about 32 First Class degree students in this year’s graduation.

Mr. Khalid Mahmoud, Gulu University Public relation officer said that the University there will also be the commissioning of Higher Education and Science and technology Infrastructure sponsored by the African development Bank[ADB/HEST project.
