Murushid Jjuuko Agrees Terms With Ghanaian Club

Ghanaian Premier League side Asante Kotoko Football Club has reportedly agreed to capture out-of-contract defender Murushid Jjuuko’s signature.

According to different news sources in Ghana, the vastly experienced cranes defender has already agreed a deal with the Ghanian giants and will be making his move after the Coronavirus pandemic.

He has previously played for Bunamwaya FC (now Vipers SC), Victoria University (now defunct), Tanzanian giants Simba SC and most recently Wydad Casablanca from Morocco.

Jjuuko was part of the Uganda Cranes squad that took part in the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments in Gabon and Egypt respectively.

In case the deal materialises, Juuko will become the third Ugandan to feature for the Asante Kotoko after left back Joseph Ochaya and forward George Abege.

Previously, current Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers Sports Club and KCCA FC were front runners to land the defender but failed to agree on personal terms.
