Mulindwa Appointed New FUFA Licensing Committee Chairman

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) president Moses Magogo has appointed Rogers Mulindwa as the new FUFA Licensing Committee Chairman.

Mulindwa whose appointment was confirmed in a press release, replaces Rogers Byamukama who has been the committee chairman since 2018.

His appointment was announced after the 22nd FUFA Executive Committee meeting at FUFA house.

Mulindwa who is a former Communication manager and delegate, was appointed after a majority vote and will be assisted by Samuel Mpiima.

KCCA Football Club Chairman Martin Ssekajja Martin, Chandi Fred and Mwesigye Ben Hasheem have also been picked as committee members.

The 5 man Committee is responsible for inspection of playing surfaces used in FUFA Competitions to meet the required minimum standards.

The other new members added on the various committees include:

FUFA Competitions Committee: Stephen Ssemutono


FUFA Legal Committee: Richard Barigye 

FUFA Finance Committee: Willis Muwanguzi 

FUFA Marketing and Communications Committee: Hassan Kavuma 

FUFA Members Committee: Simon Peter Longor

FUFA Safety and Security Committee: Musa Lubanga

FUFA Football Development Committee: Innocent Oryem

FUFA International Matches Organisation Committee: Jamil Ssewanyana

FUFA Referees Standing Committee: John Bosco Masiko 

FUFA Club Licensing Committee: Rogers Mulindwa (Chairman), Martin Ssekagya (Member)
