Mujib Kasule to Petition FIFA, Court Over ‘Current Mess’ in Ugandan Football

A day after his bid to contest for the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Presidency was thrown out, prescription Mujib Kasule has come out to reveal his way forward in regards to the matter.

In a press briefing held at Tipsy Restaurant in Wandegeya, more about Kampala, see Kasule vowed never to end his pursuit for what he calls football justice.

The Proline Football Club proprietor and coach stated that he has several avenues through which he can have his side and opinion be heard and an amicable solution found.

“I have personally lived within the game of football and I have served it diligently as a footballer, administrator and several other different capacities. It is high time we sought another platform to have our grievances heard,” he stated.

“Therefore on that note, my first step will be to petition FIFA not only tell them about the dubious actions going on in FUFA electoral process but also the mess going in the game of football,” Kasule lamented.

In addition, Kasule asserted that incase FIFA does not give them attention, he will seek the courts of law.

Kasule has vowed never to quit before his motive of seeking justice is duly concluded.

“I never quit as a footballer even when the conditions were tough, I never quit when I bought Nalubaale and some people thought I could not own a club, I never quit when Proline was dubiously relegated. So I assure you, I will not,” Kasule indicated.

Mujib Kasule had his bid for becoming a Fufa President thrown out on Monday after the Fufa electoral committee deemed his documents incomplete.

The decision meant incumbent Moses Magogo remains unopposed with the elective assembly slated for 5th August in Masindi district.
