MTN Partners With DSTV to Bring TV to Mobile

MultiChoice Uganda and MTN have today announced a new partnership that will see DSTV customers enjoying services on their Mobile phones/ computers.

The new partnership will see DSTV subscribers stream live TV and access DSTV catch up through a mobile application DSTV using the time based MTN data bundles at no additional cost.

Speaking at the official launch that took place at Multi choice Offices in Kololo, Patricia Kiconco, the Multi choice Uganda’s head of Customer Experience and Care said the move was aimed at giving DSTV customers more opportunities to watch their favourite channels at their convenience

“This new development is timely for the new times and lifestyle. A lot of people are now more engaged and do not have time to sit home and watch a show or news. The phone is becoming the most used tool nowadays. By bringing DSTV to your phone, we are allowing our customers to  be where they want to be and still enjoy TV” she said

MTN’s Senior Manager Digital Service, Susan Kayemba said the new initiative will give their customers more value for their data

“We have introduced new data bundles that can be used unlimitedly for only DSTV Now at Shs6000 for 2hour bundle and 12000 for 4 hour bundle. Thesr can be used to watch any DSTV channel on any if the subscribed for packages” she said

The new initiative is exclusively for DSTV subscribers and MTN users
