Several Members of the 10th Parliament were yesterday ‘disappointed’ learning that their Bank accounts had not been credited with money meant for their cars as reported in Daily Monitor on Wednesday.
The report said up to Sh100million has been had been deposited to every member’s account as part of payment for the vehicles.

Rubaga North Member of Parliament, Moses Kasibante also revealed that the money hasn’t been deposited to his account but noted that Parliament would be making a mistake to release the money since there is still a court case going on against the release of funds.
“I haven’t received money on my account but I still think it was not in good faith because some Ugandan was in Court challenging its constitutionality; the parliament commission should wait until the case is determined,” Kasibante noted.
Other law makers contacted on the issue include; Nansana Municipality MP, Wakayima Nsereko , Busiro East MP Merdad Ssegoona and Kyadondo East MP Apollo Kantinti who all confirmed that they hadn’t received the money by Wednesday.
