Mukono Municipality MP Hon Betty Nambooze, who is in police custody, reported slipped into a health complication that required urgent medical attention.
The MP is detained at Nagalama Police Station where she is being watched a by a health worker.
Nambooze was arrested earlier this week on allegations that she posted inciting comments on social media in the wake of the murder of Arua Municipality Mp Hon Ibrahim Abiriga.

“Her condition is worrying and anything can happen. She has been made to lie on two benches in the office of the OC CID, and it’s on these benches that a young medical practitioner is helplessly looking at her,” said Mwijukye.
“She has been put on drip through the window of the office and the police officers are monitoring as her condition deteriorates. She can neither sit nor stand. They say that they have no authority and that their work is only custodial.”
Mwijukye says many people who managed visit the MP, were whelmed by emotion, some breaking down in tears.
Nambooze months ago underwent a complex spinal operation in India, following injuries she sustained during the Age Limit parliamentary debate late last year.
