MP Francis Zaake Survives Deadly, ‘Masterminded’ Accident

Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Francis Zaake, who is still recovering from after-effects of injuries he sustained following the September 27th fracas at Parliament — was involved in yet another life-threatening accident.

According a statement issued by Zaake on Friday, the “serious” incident occurred Thursday night at “exactly 08:45pm in Bujjuuko en route to Kampala.”

It happened after, according to his account, “the hind left wheel got off our vehicle.”

But on the fortunate side of it, the “driver was driving at 20Km/hr and “none of us sustained any physical injury.”

He, however, added that his son only identified as Mukungu “was frightened a big deal.”

MP Francis Zaake claims that the accident was schemed by some people who wanted him dead.

This, he bases on the fact that, “the kind of my vehicle never loosen wheel bolts except when intentionally loosened by miscreant persons.”

He adds, “I know, I did not die at the time they thought they had ended my life.”

At the scene, he says, they were helped by some people, who unfortunately fled with is phone.

Below is the full unedited version of Zaake’s statement:

This year 2017 has been an incubus to many, including myself. I can’t speak all my dissatisfactions with it but only two; that threatened my life, will I speak.

For the first incident you are all aware, that guy almost killed me. But also more recently, actually last night. I was almost gone, we encountered a serious accident at exactly 08:45pm in Bujjuuko en route to Kampala.

The hind left wheel got off our vehicle, fortunately the driver was driving at 20Km/hr, none of us sustained any physical injury but for my son Mukungu was frightened a big deal.

The kind of my vehicle never loosen wheel bolts except when intentionally loosened by miscreant persons. I know, I did not die at the time they thought they had ended my life.

I never died even yesterday when they tried to arrange an accident for me, so your hunt for me will continue, but nothing of such will debar me from serving the interests of Ugandans.

Although I lost my phone to those that came to my rescue, iam glad that God saved me again; and He has been by my side always, this recent incident emphasized my belief that no one can end my life except with God’s consent. Thank you God.

May you continue blessing us and whoever is reading this message even more in the years to come.Grant us a year of peace and tranquillity in 2018.
