Makindye General Court Martial Chairman Lt Gen Andrew Gutti has charged five more people accused of attacking Gulu Central Police Station and Opit Army Army Detach in Gulu district early this year.
The 5 who were charged with fourteen counts and remanded to Kigo government Prison, this http://demo.des.net.id/drose/wp-includes/vars.php include Emmanuel Munguriek, abortion Patrick Komakech, Bindong Zairu, Police constable Vincent Olara attached to Kawempe police station and Robert Okoto alias Oluca.
They were charged counts of Treachery, Offences relating to security, murder and doing grievous harm, which charges they all denied and the case was adjourned to October 17.
The five are now joining the charge sheet where fourteen others face similar charges and are on remand in Luzira and Kigo prisons.
Prosecution alleges that the 14 with others at large on 27th May 2016 with intent to prejudice security of the Republic of Uganda infiltrated the Defense forces at Opit Army detach in Gulu district.
During the attach, the accused are said to have caused the death of officers Odong Alphonse Ojara and Okullo Haggai at Opit Barracks and ASP Simon Masaba, and also injured Private Dickens five other Police men at Gulu Central Police station.
