Arua based Onduparaka Football Club has unveiled versatile midfielder Derrick Ochen, bringing the total of new signings at the club to Fourteen.
The club’s latest signing Ochen joins the Caterpillars on a one-year contract, taking him through the 2020/2021 season.
He was among the nine players earlier released by URA FC as the club re-shapes the squad going into the forthcoming season.
Ochen also had stints with the Saints (now defunct), Kira United, Kyetume FC and was part of the Acholi province team that won the second edition of FUFA the Drum (2019).
He joins other new signings in Simon Okot, Stephen Ogiramoi, Oketch Emmanuel, Emmanuel Odur, Gabriel Matata, Kennedy Atibuni, Jerry Jakisa, Bonny Musema, Augustine Opoka, Oscar Agaba, Kenneth Makara and Shaban Wasswa.
Last season, Onduparaka finished 8th on the Uganda Premier League table with 31 points from 25 games and will hope to better it’s performance come next season.
