Stylish midfielder Amir Kakomo could leave Uganda Premier League record Champions Sports Club Villa for greener pastures, ChimpReports has learnt.
According to reliable sources, Kakomo whose contract with the Jogoos has expired is in advanced talks with Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club on a possible move.
Last season, Kakomo played an instrumental role in SC Villa’s stunning performance as the team finished in the 3rd position after the league was abruptly called off.
The attacking midfielder previously played for Namasuba Juventus and FUFA Big League side Kiboga Young. He also featured for Uganda Martyrs in the 2017 University Football League adding to his stints at Masaza Cup entities Ssingo, Buwekula and Gomba.
However, Edward Kaziba’s side are said to be in negotiations with the player over contract renewal.
Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club, Express FC, and Bidco Uganda Limited (BUL FC) are other top flight teams that are linked to the player.
