Micho Touts Nkata for KPL Title, Lauds Bhachu’s Improvement

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has passed his message of well wishes to Tusker FC coach Paul Nkata ahead of the final bend in the Kenya Premier league title race.

Tusker are currently occupying the top spot in the league sponsored by betting firm Sportpesa with 55 points, capsule four ahead of defending champions Gormahia FC.

“Despite my respect to Gormahia and our player Godfrey Walusimbi, I wish our coach Paul Nkata all the best in the Kenya Premier League considering that he is just a win away to the championship title, ” Micho said.

The brewers could snatch away the trophy with victory against ailing AFC Leopards this coming Sunday or any result in case Gormahia fail at Muhorony Youth on Saturday.

The duo clash in the final game of the season.

Batambuze call-up
The Serbian tactician expressed his content in Batambuze’s recent performance and has promised to give him a chance to prove in the coming national duty

“Batambuze has been an outstanding young and regular player at Tusker FC. He trained with us (Cranes) last year before Togo game and we have seen him playing very well in the KPL so he fully deserves the call up.”

He will be in contention for the Zambia friendly and Congo (Brazzaville) but if he doesn’t make the 18- man squad then we shall still use him for CECAFA.
