Former Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has had a scintillating return to the ABSA Premiership Soccer League in South Africa.
On his second stint at Orlando Pirates, the Serbian tactician has helped improve the team and his works have not gone unnoticed.
The gaffer was on Thursday named the best coach for the month of March in the PSL following the Buccaneers performance in that particular period.
Pirates registered two wins in March which saw them score as many as five goals. The wins included a solid performance against rivals Kaizer Chiefs wining the game 3-1 before capping it with a 2-1 away win against Golden Arrows.
This was the second time Micho was wining the accolade. The first one came in January this year.
Micho beat off competition from Maritzburg Uunited’s Fadlu Davids and Luc Eymael of Free State Stars.
Orlando Pirates dominated the awards with Musa Nyatama and Justin Shonga wining the players of the month and goal of the month accolades respectively.
The sea robbers are currently second on the table with 45 points just one behind league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
