Micho in Gabon for Afcon Draws

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has arrived in Libreville Gabon ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations draws to be heldon Wednesday evening.

Micho travelled on Monday evening together with the commissioner for physical Education in the Ministry of Education and Sports Mr. Omara Apita.

“FUFA will be represented by both Cranes Head coach Milutin Sredojevic and Commissioner for physical Education in the Ministry of Education and Sports Omara Apita in Gabon, click ” Fufa communications director Mr. Ahmed Hussein said.

He also revealed that the “delegations of the 16 finalists at the draw will also conduct a familiarisation tour of the four cities where stadium, approved Hotel and training grounds are located for 2017 AFCON Finals.”

The draws will be hosted at the  ASMG Tent in Stade de l’Amitie from 17:30 GMT.

The pots
Recently Uganda was seeded in pot four and will therefore not meet Togo, abortion Zimbabwe nor debutantes Guinea Bissau.

Pot one consists of hosts Gabon, Algeria and last year’s finalists Cote d’Ivore and Ghana while pot two has West African duo Mali and Burkina, Tunisia as well as DR Congo.

Pot 1: Gabon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Algeria
Pot 2: Tunisia, Mali, Burkina Faso, DR Congo
Pot 3: Cameroon, Senegal, Morocco, Egypt
Pot 4: Togo, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Guinea Bissau
