Following a fire outbreak on Sunday night that destroyed students’ property at Mbarara High School, click http://charadas.org/wp-admin/includes/bookmark.php the students have refused to attend classes, pharmacy compelling the administration to send some of the classes back home.
The students who kept on questioning how they would carry on with the studies without resources yesterday were preparing to hold a demonstration.
These will therefore skip their end of first term exams. This came only three weeks to the close of the term.
Chimpreports has learnt that all student of S1, S2, S3 and S5 were sent home and their exams cancelled.
The school Head teacher Benon Twinomujuni told our reporter that they students themselves asked to be sent home.
He revealed however, that candidate classes (S4 and S6) were retained to be prepared for their final national exams since there isn’t enough time.
Police he said, are working with the administration to investigate the case of the fire.
