Kampala restaurant was mid this week renewed for a third edition at the Sheraton Hotel.
The week which is aimed at showcasing various restaurant cuisines will drag on till July 15, 2017.
The annual event usually sees various foodies enjoy reduced prices at selected eating points.
Philip Kalibwani, the Business Development Manager at Pearl Guide Uganda revealed that for one week, over 40 of the city’s best restaurants will make new creative dishes over and above their usual menus.
“Unlike the previous editions, this year, selected restaurants in Entebbe, Mbarara and Jinja will be taking part in the third edition of Kampala Restaurant Week” he said.
The Kampala Restaurant Week will be capped off with an awards ceremony on the 15th July at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala. This will be to recognize the most outstanding chefs, restaurants and other participants in this edition.
According to Estella Muzito the head of beers at Uganda Breweries limited, Tusker Lite will be adding great value to everyone’s experience this edition by offering a complimentary drink to diners to ensure a complete dining experience
Muzito added that they hope to increase the awareness of the Kampala restaurant week and adopt a fresh, exciting lifestyle.
“Kampala Restaurant Week is about creativity, discounts and good value” she said.
