Mbarara City Football Club President Hon. Mwine Mpaka who is also the western Youth Member of Parliament has appointed the new Chief Executive Officer for the club ahead of the new season.
Mr. Semusu Norbert comes in as the club CEO, replacing Fred Mugalu Sadam who has been appointed as the new Team Manager and Administration, replacing Byamukama who was dropped.
Other new appointments include Secretary for Finance Tabu Godfrey as well as Akankwasa Mushabe Anold who is the new club communications officer replacing Mushabe Osborn who has since been appointed as the Liaison officer Kampala.
Baker Kasule remains the Technical director and Brian Ssenyondo the Assistant coach as the club continues to struggle hunting for the finest head coach and goal keeping coach.
According to Mwine Mpaka, the reshuffle is aimed at strengthening the club performance both on the pitch and off the pitch.
Mpaka believes that the Ankole Lions are well prepared to fight for the trophy this season.
Mbarara City FC is yet to host its games from its home ground Kakyeka stadium and continues to use Luzira Prisons ground pending FUFA’s approval after the re-inspection.
Mpaka insists however Kakyeka is ready to host the games, after clearing all they were told to clear including green playing surface and concrete perimeter poles.
“Onduparaka Fc has been allowed to use its Green light stadium; we also believe that our Kakyeka will soon be allowed too”, Mpaka responded.
