Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City Football Club has released their final squad and their corresponding shirt numbers for the forthcoming 2020/21 campaign.
The 26-man squad has some notable new additions obtained from the transfer window in former SC Villa forward Bashir Mutanda, goalkeeper Martin Elungat, Ronald Edwok and Godfrey Kalungi, among others.
Ramathan Abdul Karim and Soulyemane Bamba will don 20 and 5 respectively, previously worn by released duo of Ronald Kabuye and Bashir Muweesi.
Wol Makweth takes shirt 14 which belonged to Paul Mucureezi who joined Vipers Sports Club midway through last season as Jude Ssemugabi receives shirt 9 previously donned by Brian Aheebwa who joined KCCA FC.
Forward Mutanda will don 10, goalie Elungat 23, Ronald Edwok 4 and Godfrey Kalungi takes shirt 21 which belonged to Ibrahim Orit, now at Vipers SC.
Last season, Mbarara City (7th) gathered 36 points from 25 games and will target to better their performance next season.
