The National Resistance Movement Secretary General, information pills http://cloudninerealtime.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-logger.php Amama Mbabazi, http://comerydivertirse.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/sharedaddy/recaptcha.php is preparing a dossier to respond to accusations of incompetence and poor planning during the 2011 party primaries marred by irregularities and violence.
This followed a damning report by a select committee of NRM Caucus headed by Rosemary Sseninde.
The report was as a result of investigations undertaken to dissect the problems faced during the NRM Primaries in which many party members expressed dissatisfaction and disappointments over the way in which the elections were conducted.
NRA historical Kahinda Otafiire said then that NRM party had been turned into “a Mbabazi business” given that his relatives were in charge of registration of members and their facilitation.
The committee resolved that a new party register should be made after the original one was hid by Mbabazi. It was also agreed that a new Electoral Commission should be formed.
Mbabazi this week refused to attend the Caucus meeting at State House, Entebbe where he was expected to respond to the issues that were raised in the Sseninde report.
According to the government chief whip Justine Kasule Lumumba, Mbabazi didn’t send any regrets for missing the meeting.
“Hon. Mbabazi informed me before that he was in the final stages of making a written response to the Sseninde report issues regarding the NRM party primaries which were largely attributed to him,” Lumumba told journalists at Parliament on Wednesday.
Now, the Caucus wants Mbabazi to immediately finalize his response and report to the Chief Whip’s office for another meeting to be convened.
Meanwhile, Lumumba further noted that the party officials at the grassroot levels will take the responsibility of registering members.
