Match Review: Uganda Hippos, KCCA Share Spoils in Six Goal Thriller

Uganda Hippos intensified their preps for the forthcoming U20 Africa Cup of Nations Zonal Qualifiers with a friendly match against Uganda Premier League side, KCCA FC on Friday.

The U20 National football team came from three goals down to draw KCCA FC 3-3 at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

The Kasassiro Boys scored through new signing Juma Balinya’s brace and Sadat Anaku, only to go on and squander their three-goal lead.

Morley Byekwaso’s side responded through Najib Yiga, Derrick Kakooza and Ivan Bogere strikes featuring for Vipers SC, Police FC and Proline FC.

Uganda is in group B alongside Burundi, Eritrea and South Sudan. The Zonal qualifiers will be staged in Tanzania between 22nd November to 6th December 2020.

The best two teams will advance to the final U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Championship scheduled to take place in Mauritania.
